My Favorite Workout Mojo Music

I remember one day at the gym staring at the elliptical machine, defeated, before I even hopped on. To get through 45 minutes seemed like it would be an eternity! I put on Sean Paul's "The Trinity"CD for a boost of motivation and BOY OH BOY did it get me through the workout! There was one particular song called "Eye Deh A Mi Knee" I repeated over and over. I couldn't understand a lick of the lyrics, but it gave me an abundance of energy like I could keep pushing another 45 minutes! 

There is something stimulating about working out with music. I call it my “Workout Mojo Music”…tunes where the beat lifts your mood, gets your blood pumping and makes you feel stronger. Lyrics that will push you a bit harder, run a bit longer and to NEVER give up. Over the years, I have accumulated a playlist of some of my FAVORITE Workout Mojo Music. (Ok so it may seem I started off a bit cheesy but this is my FAVORITE running song!)

Power- Kanye West from “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”**
Instant favorite! The beat also has the PERFECT running pace)
Ease on Down the Road- Michael Jackson from “The Wiz” 
(Ok ok one more cheesy song, but its awesome for long distance running!)
