My AWESOME Detox Experience

I decided to do an 8 day body detox using the MASTER CLEANSE formula.

Lemonade Mix (makes one serving):
2 tablespoons of ORGANIC fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 tablespoons of GRADE B maple syrup
1/10 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
8 to 10 oz of water.
Drink at least 6 servings a day (max 12 servings)

Morning Salt Water Flush: 4 cups of water & 2 teaspoons of sea salt
At night: Laxative tea or colon cleanse pills.

I’d heard about various celebrities doing the Master Cleanse before (ex Beyonce for her role in Dreamgirls) and I’d always thought it was just a quick fix to lose weight. I mean come on...lemons, maple syrup and cayenne pepper? It sounded to me like starvation to maintain their skinny celebrity bodies! Well a friend of mine on Facebook recently decided to do the Master Cleanse and tracked his progress in his status updates. This piqued my interest after a few days as I could see that he wasn’t about to die of lack of nourishment lol...matter of fact he felt energetic! So I probed him with a few questions, watched a few youtube links about the cleanse...even purchased a Master Cleanse book to understand more of what I’d be doing, why it’s important to cleanse, why the ingredients were chosen and the benefits.

Turning Thoughts Into Actions in 2010

2010!!! Whooooohuuuuu!!! How many of you guys are excited about the New Year & what it will bring?! What is it about the New Year that gives people a clean slate...a fresh outlook on life? I mean...everyday should be a fresh start! *optimistic Tiff speaking* ...Well whatever the case, 2010 is here and in full effect. The gyms are packed, we’re eating healthier, establishing better relationships and motivated more than ever to be successful. It seems the motto of the year is “I’m Going in for 2010!” as per previously: “It’s My Time in 2009” or “I’m Gonna Be Fine...” and other rhyming phrases. I usually have a list of resolutions and mottos myself, but I find them to be immeasurable to say “I’m going in” or “It’s my time”.... my time for what?? *shrugs shoulders* lol

This year I decided to say, “Turn Thoughts Into Actions.” Still seem
s pretty vague and room for failure right? Well the difference this time is I’m writing down my thoughts with a measurable plan...and then BREATHE it to life. I don’t know about you guys but I have millions of fabulous thoughts and ideas running through my head, that if I don’t write them down with the proper steps to get there, I tend to get a bit ummmmm.....sidetracked.

SO! Current thought to action in 2010: Start a blog. Why? Simply because I love being creative, expressing my thoughts and sharing any bit of wisdom I have with the world! To me "Silence is NOT Golden" as my friend below here differs:

(I agree with this theory in the workplace lol)

I found this quote today:

“Action always generates inspiration. Inspiration seldom generates action.” Frank Tibolt

So true!!! *clapping loudly* Many of us have great actions just waiting to be implemented, but we are waiting on some grand inspiration to act!

So here it is! *crossing out on my list* (START A BLOG) YES!! What are my blogs going to consist of?? Its gonna be a little bit of this...a little bit of that ;) It could be something inspirational...something funny (I specialize in sarcasm)...relatable or waaaaaay off the radar ;) ...great tips I’ve found that are awesome to share (ooooh especially health tips!) and more. According to Tibolt's quote, I will become inspired simply by taking action..well guess what? I've taken action by creating the blog & I'm already inspired! My head is running a mile a minute and my hands are just itching to type!

So stay tuned!

Until the next blog...wishing you the best in "acting" out your thoughts and living your best life!
